Gothenburg based company Qualisys is a leading provider of precision motion capture and 3D positioning tracking systems for engineering, biomechanics, animation, virtual reality, robotics, and movement sciences.  Qualisys had outgrown its former office and found new facilities in the former Sjöbefälsskolan, a 19th century brick building on Kvarnberget in central Gothenburg.

MONO arkitektstudio was commissioned to make a new office layout, concept and interior design. The challenge was to create an office and interior within a short timeframe and with a very limited budget, ensuring both functionality and an identity that would strengthen the brand. For parts of the interior project we collaborated with Recomo to add re-used furniture in the office space, this both for economical and environmental reasons.

In 2021 we were again commisioned to make updates of the original office layout due to a growth of employees and a need for more smaller meeting rooms and telephone rooms.
